The Engineering Manager will provide overall, long-term coordination and management to company technical projects from initiation through delivery for new and existing customers. Establish effective communication with managers across technical and non-technical departments in order to identify key plan tasks and due dates. This role will be involved in planning and managing project schedule and budget, and ensuring technical projects follow plans, remain on schedule and within budget.

This key role requires working directly with customers and internal teams, while maintaining professionalism and decorum as a leading representative of the Iron Mountain InSight team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with leaders at various levels to ensure technical project management- related activities support the strategic objectives of the company

  • Responsible for planning and delivering successful InSight solutions and seamlessly transitioning the customer to account management and L3 support teams.

  • Leads a team of assigned technical resources through the InSight Implementation / Onboarding Process, including customer requirements, solution design, solution development, and testing activities.

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled project

  • Hosts and leads technical requirement gathering sessions with internal and external participants

  • Contribute actively to the development of tools and enhancements to standardize and automate processes and procedures for onboarding customers.

  • Analyzes and resolves issues. Escalates issues to senior management when required.

  • Supports and promotes Iron Mountain core values.

Responsibility and Authority:

  • Responsible for reporting on all ongoing implementations of InSight project to executive management; including risk management

  • Responsible for the timely and successful implementation of InSight projects.

  • Responsible for training newly hired team members.

  • Responsible for identifying, resolving, and when necessary, escalating any issues that may be impeding the success of the project.

  • Hiring & Human capital management for team members across experience range from College Graduates to lateral senior team members

  • Manage through collaboration and influence with various engineering, operations & implementation teams and resolve conflicts
