The AV/Desktop Technician implements and operates our video and audio conferencing infrastructure. This role works to resolve video connectivity and application problems expeditiously to eliminate and/or minimize down time. They run strategic projects, enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance required to facilitate business needs.
Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities include; enterprise platform management (physical & virtual), client application delivery, and ensuring security compliance for desktop/mobile systems.

Participate in large build outs from bid process through project completion
Oversight of AV equipment installation (such as displays, microphones, speakers, projectors, video teleconferencing, and connecting wires/cables)
Look for opportunities to enhance, automate, improve & streamline processes and procedures
Collaborate with team members in a positive supportive manner
Execute the endpoint engineering process for multiple operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Android, Apple iOS, Citrix XenApp platform, and optimize them for redundancy, performance, security, application virtualization and data protection.
Utilize available tools such as Tanium, Active Directory/GPMC, JAMF, among others, to perform complex hardware and software maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
Provide Level 2 Desktop Support
Maintain existing standards for user profile management.
3-5+ years minimum experience in the Audio/Visual/IT field at the enterprise level
3-5+ years experience with a wide range of technologies, including control systems, video conferencing, distributed video systems, cameras, microphones, and other related electronics
Experience in supporting Meet LIve Stream events in the Enterprise
Quickly able to assess a technical problem and drive to resolution
Proven experience installing AV systems in an enterprise environment.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
Excellent customer service skills, considers the impact on the customer when making a decision
Handle details accurately and in a timely manner under pressure
Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
Uses good judgment and tact.
Experience with Google Workspace is preferred
Experience with Microsoft AD & Group Policy
Experience with Tanium, JAMF and VMware a plus
