Responsibilities

Primary purpose of the Role

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support at our Boyers imaging center as well as supporting our cloud based imaging and file transfer central environment.

This role requires an experienced IT professional with a proven record of accomplishment to support this fast-paced and high volume environment. Reporting to the Project Coordinator for Global DS Service Operations, this individual will be the on-site lead for the Service Operations team. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support including scanning, imaging and managing file transfer.

The Period of the GDIT Contact is 16 months hence the position will be open for 16 months.

Key Accountabilities

The range of activities and tasks to be undertaken by the System Engineer, Global DS Service Operations (NA) include:

· Daily maintenance activities to ensure all IT operations run smoothly.

· Daily support for the local imaging center and for the cloud based central environment.

· Responsible for proper daily escalation of issues and off-hour on-call support.

· Work to improve existing standard processes and develop comprehensive controls to monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence based on industry proven best practices.

· Responsible for successful on-boarding of new DS customers and change requests for existing DS customers

· Ensure constant systems/solution availability to meet project SLA’s

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Results orientated

• Deep understanding of the various IT functions

• Ability to plan strategically

• Knowledge of Kofax Capture or any scanning tool would be beneficial

• Willingness to work with numerous deadlines on a wide variety of initiatives in an environment where priorities may change quickly

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or 5 to 10 years of IT industry work experience, with at least 3 years of Support ownership experience.

· Typically has 5-10 years of IT support work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.

· You must be a U.S. citizen to apply and will be subject to a customer background clearance investigation

· ITIL v3 foundation and practitioner certification
