Primary purpose of the Role

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support at our Boyers imaging center as well as supporting our cloud based imaging and file transfer central environment.

This role requires an experienced IT professional with a proven record of accomplishment to support this fast-paced and high volume environment. Reporting to the Project Coordinator for Global DS Service Operations, this individual will be the on-site lead for the Service Operations team. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support including scanning, imaging and managing file transfer.

Key Accountabilities

The range of activities and tasks to be undertaken by the Senior System Engineer, Global DS Service Operations (NA) include:

  • Daily maintenance activities to ensure all IT operations run smoothly.

  • Daily support for the local imaging center and for the cloud based central environment.

  • Responsible for proper daily escalation of issues and off-hour on-call support.

  • Work to improve existing standard processes and develop comprehensive controls to monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence based on industry proven best practices.

  • Responsible for successful on-boarding of new DS customers and change requests for existing DS customers

  • Ensure constant systems/solution availability to meet project SLA’s

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or 5 years of IT industry work experience, with at least 1 year of leadership experience and 5 years developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Typically has 5 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments. At least 1 year of experience with managing team(s) responsible in strategic planning, business development or client management and working with a broad range of diverse and complicated business units.

  • This is a 11:30am-8:00pm shift and 100% in person so if you're outside the Pittsburgh/Boyers, PA area do not apply

  • You must be a U.S. citizen to apply and will be subject to a customer background clearance investigation.

  • ITIL v3 foundation and practitioner certification

Mobility Requirements:

  • Limited travel up to 15%
