Iron Mountain Agreement to Cash Project Lead (A2C) in Budapest, Hungary

The Finance Shared Services organization is a dynamic organization undergoing exciting change driving standardization of critical processes around order to cash, using innovative technologies to deliver invoices to customers and analytics to understand customer performance improving collections! We are currently obsessed with driving process improvements and tech solutions!

The A2C Project Lead - EMEA is a key member of the Finance Shared Services team that will identify and execute improvements across the Agreement to Cash EMEA operation. The main focus of this role is to identify and execute a portfolio of improvement projects using structured problem solving, lean and six sigma methodologies (DMAIC), Agile and other improvement methods such that these projects shall realize tangible and measurable results for the business in the form of cost savings, customer experience improvement, process simplification and/or process quality improvements.

What you will do

  • Identify and create mechanisms to collect data on key issues affecting Agreement to Cash processes from customer experience, organizational leadership priorities, non-compliances from Audits, internal systemic issues and best practices.

  • Establish a portfolio of projects for agreement to cash improvement initiatives with clearly identified ROI’s and/or cost savings that are aligned with business KPI’s that affect billing, cash application and collections.

  • Establish criteria to prioritize these improvement initiatives and get buy-ins from key stakeholders

  • Define problem statements and execute improvement projects leveraging key tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, statistical process control, process mapping and root cause analysis/structured problem solving and realize the ROI and/or cost savings.

  • Utilize tools to understand process flows and document as-is processes

  • Execute cross-functional workouts to realize the improvements.

  • Standardize the improvements via QMS and Control Plans so they are sustained

  • Train and coach key stakeholders to ensure the follow up actions are taken to sustain the improvements

  • Report the improvements to EMEA and Finance Shared Services leadership team

  • Develop a dashboard/system for awareness and transparency on improvement projects across Finance Shared Services, GBS and Iron Mountain.

What you will bring

Candidate Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance/Economics

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification or equivalent experience preferred

  • Fluent in English, German (and Dutch, preferably)

Background/ Experience

  • 5 years of experience leading and executing Six Sigma and/or lean projects

  • Experience in financial service business, order to cash or collections businesses

  • Experience working in shared service models

  • Experience working with data and a fact based approach

  • Ability to use structured problem solving

  • Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional activities

  • Ability to do data analytics and drive insights

  • Ability to prioritize and use judgement

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects & managing multiple projects.

  • Ability to simplify complex information to communicate to various audiences

  • Strong written/verbal communications and ability to communicate at all levels in the organization

  • Finance and IT Industry experience a plus

  • Internal Auditing experience a plus
