Responsibilities

This Data Center Critical facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completion of all corrective and preventive maintenance for facility assets and equipment. As well as participate in tasks associated with customer provisioning and support. Tasks also include inventory of spare parts and supplies, customer provisioning and vendor assistance.

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and up keep of the interior and exterior ofthe building including controlled areas where housekeeping standards will be

extensive. The Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance and a

variety of facility, grounds maintenance tasks, as well as the operation of

equipment to support these tasks.

• The ability to respond to critical system failures and other events, requiring

competent and effective emergency response

• Perform daily equipment rounds, complete log entries, utilize Data Center

Infrastructure Management monitoring system (DCIM)

• Able to understand and follow MOPs, Security, Safety and Standard Operating

Procedures

Other Job Requirements:

• Working in a 7x24 100% Uptime environment

• Entry level MS Office Suite

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent Mechanical/Electrical skills and familiarity with industrial maintenance

• Must be available to cover other shifts as needed, may be different day and hours

• Self-Starter

• Attention to detail

Educational/Qualification Requirements

• 3 years maintenance experience in a controlled environment

• Experience with Generators, HVAC equipment

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
