Iron Mountain IT Infrastructure Specialist in Kumla, Sweden

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure specialist in Ostersund who will be in charge to provide day-to-day support of all server virtualization platforms in Sweden and monitors the infrastructure at both primary and DR sites. Being a point of contact for local business takes care of their needs and addresses issues that may occur; provides support for the local applications.

The primary goal is to keep an IT environment in a high availability state minimizing unplanned downtimes. That is important to keep high customer satisfaction with proactive response and service within agreed SLA’s.

What you will do :

  • Availability to work from Ostersund

  • Will handle Vmware, MSSQL.

  • Disaster Recovery & BCP for production.

  • Remote and at the site support for local business activities.

  • Support on-site backup tape rotation.

  • Support Sweden business projects and day-to-day operations.

  • On call support after business hours will be required when needed.

  • Keep all documentation up to date and train Service desk to handle tier 1 support and triage of local applications issues.

  • Primary owner for all virtualization in Sweden.

  • Availability and performance of virtualization platform in Sweden.

  • Maintenance and general continuous improvement roadmap to ensure consistent user experience across growth or feature enhancements.

  • Implementation and delivery for any and all changes of the production virtualization platforms.

What you will bring to the role :

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills, hands on experience on P2V,V2V, Vmware, vSphere technologies, on multiple Vmware Esx editions (ESX 5.1, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5), VMotion and VMware virtual center.command line of ESX management.

  • Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX, Nutanix AHV server environment.

  • Good understanding of HA and DRS.

  • Experience in performance tuning of VMWare, Nutanix AHV servers.

  • Administering Cisco UCS\HP\IBM\Lenovo blade/Nutanix servers.

  • Good to have ITIL Knowledge and Certification.

  • Good knowledge of Incident management, change management, Problem management , Capacity management , availability management.

  • Good knowledge and experience in carrying out disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

  • Knowledge and experience in servers, Esxi patching and Vulnerability management.

  • Experience in Powershell scripting is preferred.

  • Needs skills in Windows, Linux, Vmware, Zerto, MSSQL and AD.

  • Understanding the concept of SAN, IT security and network is crucial.

  • Swedish citizenship and security clearance is a requirement.

  • Availability to travel when needed to other Nordic countries.
