THE OPPORTUNITY:
Title: Global Test Lead - Payroll Transformation
Fixed term contract: 2 years (until December, 2026)
Location: Poland/ Hungary/Romania/ Greece/ Czech Republic
Primary purpose of the role:
IM’s objective is to transform and operate all the BPO/Payroll and Time related processes at a World Class level when it comes to accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency and delivery satisfaction.
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to help with that transformation.
As a Global Test Lead you will join the Global Payroll Process Centre of Excellence (GPPCOE) on payroll and time tracking application implementation projects throughout the globe. The GPPCOE Team is located remotely in multiple regions and countries throughout the globe.
In the Global Test Lead role you will be responsible to work closely with the Global Program Team to develop testing strategies, plans and procedures that ensure the accuracy and functionality of the payroll system as well as coordinate successful execution of the testing cycle.
Your role in our mission:
Develop and maintain testing strategies, plans and procedures for the implementation of payroll and time tracking systems (e.g., unit, system, integration, UAT) across different countries
Assist in developing a migration strategy of payroll data from incumbent supplier
Collaborate with the Program/project team to identify testing requirements and scope based on business and systems requirements
Lead a team of country subject matter experts (SME’s) by providing guidance and support throughout the testing process
Lead a team of country SME’s in the creation and development of test cases to verify the accuracy and functionality of the payroll/time systems
Document and report defects found during testing and work with Program/project teams to ensure timely resolution
Conduct implementation testing to validate the success of the payroll systems implementation and close any open testing items not critical for go live
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth integration of the payroll system with other related systems and processes.
Choose appropriate testing tools and frameworks to support global testing efforts, ensuring they are implemented effectively across regions
Benchmarking and Best Practices, stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payroll systems and testing methodologies to ensure the project benefits from the latest innovations.
Functional Knowledge, Skills :
Previous experience coordinating testing of payroll and time systems implementation preferably in a global organization
Knowledge of the project lifecycle
Knowledge Payroll and Time Tracking systems
Knowledge of Workday and Strada (Alight) Worklife considered a plus
Working knowledge of Google suite of applications
BA or Master degree
